NHP's Cycle for Change fundraiser hits the nightly news!

A bunch of kind-hearted NHP staff with a high tolerance for pain went on NHP’s annual Cycle 4 Change last week to raise money for Southern Cross Kids’ Camps, which interrupts the cycle of abuse and neglect in primary aged children by providing an outstanding five day camping program.

This allows the kids to experience a week filled with fun and laughter, leaving them with a fresh perspective, new life skills and hope for a brighter future.

Each year, the gruelling trek takes place in a different part of Australia - this year, it was the on the Gold Coast. Over 4 days, the team rode between 403-463km, climbing 7515m, experiencing the topical delights of the Sunshine Coast’s beaches, quaint villages and spectacular views across the Glasshouse Mountains.

Seven News caught up with the riders on the Gold Coast, which you can watch here!

We were aiming to raise $120,000 and we’ve smashed that target - $130,048 has been raised at the time of publishing, but it would be great to keep it going for the kids!

Amazing work, team!
