Switch-disconnectors, more commonly known as load break switches, provide a means for safe disconnection of electrical loads or equipment from the power supply. Such disconnection is essential and well suited for various scenarios, such as performing maintenance work, repairs, or inspections on electrical equipment. NHP’s load break switch offering includes modular and standard switches, along with switches with visible breaking and positive break indication, remote trip switches and enclosed options. Options are available to suit up to 415V AC and 1500V DC applications with a comprehensive range of current ratings. Accompanying accessories are also available to fulfil any application requirement.

Socomec SLBM Modular Loadbreak Switches
The Socomec SLBM Modular Loadbreak Switches are manually operated, modular and multipolar by design. Providing a safe isolation solution for the distribution of electrical power in a range of applications requiring isolation up to 125A. Installation options include DIN rail, panel, or base mounting, they come with direct mount handle or a panel mount handle and shaft.
Socomec SLB Loadbreak Switches
Compact switching solutions from 125A up to 5000A, the SLB range of load break switches are a proven, reliable design. Severe load duty categories (AC-22 and AC-23) are well suited to the arduous switching of motors, main switch isolation and disconnection of other loads.
Socomec INOSYS DC Loadbreak Switches
The Socomec INOSYS DC Load Break Switches have been engineered for the most demanding DC and PV applications, in compliance with AS 60947.3:2018 and DC-PV2. Complete non-polarisation of the switch allows for consistent wiring configurations, and clear contact indication ensures isolation can easily be confirmed. The stable ON/OFF position ensures complete disconnection and isolation.
Socomec VLB Visible Loadbreak Switches
The VLB series of load break switches feature fully visible and positive break indication ensuring safe switching. The user can visually assess the condition of the device and confirm isolation during maintenance or prior to operation. Available from 32 to 800A, suitable for safety focus applications and emergency load break with front or side operation based on your installation preference.
