NHP Introduces Delta SLIM 100: A new compact 100 kW DC fast charger for space constrained Australian sites

NHP Electrical Engineering Products has expanded its EV charging solutions portfolio with the introduction of the Delta SLIM 100 DC Fast Charger, a high performance, compact charging system designed specifically for locations where space is limited but fast charging is essential.

As the exclusive Australian distributor for Delta EV charging solutions, NHP is bringing the SLIM 100 to market to support the rapid rollout of electric vehicle infrastructure across commercial, fleet, retail and urban environments.

High power fast charging in a smaller footprint

The Delta SLIM 100 delivers up to 100 kW of DC fast charging power from a single cabinet, making it ideal for space critical applications such as car parks, service stations, fleet depots and urban traffic hubs. Despite its compact size, the system supports simultaneous charging and is capable of charging up to three vehicles at once, including two 50 kW DC charge sessions simultaneously.

With a footprint that is 55% smaller and volume 62% smaller than comparable chargers offering the same power level, the SLIM 100 enables fast charging installations in sites where traditional systems simply won’t fit.

High voltage capability for modern EV solutions

The Delta SLIM 100 supports DC charging voltages of up to 920 VDC, making it suitable for a wide range of current electric vehicles and higher voltage platforms now entering the market. This capability allows charge point operators to deploy fast charging infrastructure with confidence, without needing to revisit equipment selection as vehicle technology continues to advance.

Energy efficient and installation friendly

Efficiency and practicality are central to the SLIM 100’s design. The system achieves up to 97% power efficiency at the rectifier level, reducing energy losses and supporting lower operating costs for charge point operators.

Weighing approximately 230 kg, the charger can be transported and installed without cranes, simplifying deployment and reducing installation complexity, particularly in retrofit environments.

User focused design with integrated payment options

The SLIM 100 has been designed for broad public accessibility, with a user friendly interface and full compliance with DIN 18040 accessibility standards, ensuring barrier free access for all users.

Authentication options include RFID as standard, with optional integrated credit card payment support, giving operators flexibility in how drivers access and pay for charging, subject to site configuration.
