Presence Sensing
NHP's offering of Allen-Bradley® GuardShield™ presence sensing safety devices protect personnel and equipment by detecting the presence of people and objects within a guarded area around machinery. Ideal for applications where personnel need frequent and safe access to hazardous areas such as robotic welding, machining centers, stamping, hydraulic presses, filter presses or packaging equipment.

Product Range
Allen-Bradley 440F Pressure Mats
The Allen-Bradley 440F pressure mats are a reliable and cost-effective solution for improving safety in industrial operations. The non-contact pressure-sensitive technology detects the presence of personnel or equipment, ensuring the correct guard is in place before machine operation. Fitted with two conductive hardened steel plates held apart by non-conductive compressible separators, they are available as either standard configuration or customised, each with edge trim options.
Allen-Bradley 440F Safety Edge Profiles
The Allen-Bradley 440F Safedge™ Safety Edge Profiles assist organisations in complying with industry safety regulations and standards by improving overall worker safety. Available in three different cushion factors and two different materials, they have no rigid internal parts meaning no break through or fatigue failures after prolonged use.
Allen-Bradley 440L Area Access Control Single Beam Sensors
The Allen-Bradley 440L Area Access Control Single Beam sensors provide whole-body access detection for hazardous areas and fitted with a 24V DC through-beam opto-electronic safety switch.
Allen-Bradley 440L Light Curtains
The Allen-Bradley 440L Light Curtains are purpose presence sensing devices ideal for use on hazardous machinery. Offering point of operation, as well as perimeter and access guarding, and fitted with Type 4 safety light curtains in a uniquely styled housing. Offering greater flexibility for a wide range of machine guarding applications via connectivity to ArmorBlock Guard IO modules, ensuring Guard Shield's Output Signal Switching Device (OSSDs) operate over a DeviceNet safety network.
