An industrial enclosure is defined as a solution from a certain material designed to protect your electrical and electronic componentry from hostile environments. NHP offers a range of enclosures from economical terminal boxes through to larger wall mount enclosures and bayable floor mount enclosures. Our enclosure solutions are available in a range of materials including ABS plastic, glass-fibre-reinforced polycarbonate, aluminium, powder coated mild steel and marine grade 316L stainless steel.

    STB Mild Steel Terminal Boxes

    nVent HOFFMAN STB mild steel terminal boxes are manufactured to the highest quality in light grey RAL 7035 powder coat finish. Perfect for indoor terminal, pushbutton or instrumentation applications, the STB range is available in two different depths to accommodate different requirements.

    Using 1.2mm mild steel, these enclosures are folded and fully seam welded and includes four pre-drilled holes for easy wall mounting. The IP66 rating is ensured by an injected one piece polyurethane gasket, guaranteeing protection against dust and water ingress.

The nVent HOFFMAN SSTB terminal box range is fully UL and IP66 certified with 316L grade stainless steel and a 400 dairy finish, ensuring your vital componentry is protected against the worst of seaside corrosion, outdoor elements and wash-down chemicals.

    With fully welded construction providing no bacteria contamination points, the SSTB range can be mounted any way you want. The special white gasket features higher UV and chemical resistance than traditional polyurethane (PUR) gaskets with almost zero water absorption for a longer life expectancy. Stainless steel wall mount brackets compliment the range as well as mild steel DIN rail supports and mounting plates.

    nVent HOFFMAN Stainless Steel Wall Mount Enclosures

    For aggressive environments where sea-air or corrosive elements are present, the nVent HOFFMAN 316L marine grade stainless steel ASR/ADR range is the solution. The design is characterised by a sturdy cruciform body, folded from a cold pressed sheet steel plate. The enclosure’s edge is folded in the shape of a channel to avoid water stagnating on the seal.

    Maximum protection for the user and the equipment is achieved thanks to the high protection degrees IP66 (single door), IP55 (double door). The ASR/ADR range features a high cleanliness design that eliminates places where dirt and bacteria can accumulate. The special white silicone gasket features higher UV and chemical resistance than traditional polyurethane gaskets with almost zero water absorbtion for a longer life expectancy.

    Stainless steel wall mount enclosures are often used in environments such as food processing, breweries, marine applications and any area exposed to corrosive chemicals. The enclosures can be secured to the wall using bolts, which are fixed directly through the rear wall of the enclosure and are protected inside with plastic washers, or wall mounting brackets, which are screwed at the rear of the enclosure. A range of accessories such as depth adjustment kits, inner doors, rain hoods (ASR/ADR) and various locking options complement the range and provide a comprehensive enclosure solution for all arduous locations.

    The nVent HOFFMAN Sloped Roof Wall Mount Enclosure feature a 38 degree sloped roof (the angle of repose of coal) and uses marine grade 316L stainless steel. With wall mounting flanges top and bottom for easy mounting, there is no need to drill extra holes into the enclosure, thus maintaining the IP66 integrity

    The special white silicone gasket features higher UV and chemical resistance than traditional polyurethane (PUR) gaskets, with almost zero water absorption for a longer life expectancy.     Hygienic Design Stainless Steel Wall Mount Enclosures

    The wall mounted Hygienic Design HDW range is optimised for protection of electrical and electronic equipment in food processing and pharmaceutical applications. They are manufactured in high quality AISI 304 grade stainless steel, with a maximum protection degree of IP66 and IP69K to ensure your assets are protected in hot, high pressure wash-down environments.

    The enclosures have a self-draining design with 30º sloping roof to prevent tools or other objects from being left or placed on them and for fluids to drain off rapidly. The seal integrity is achieved via a removable one piece silicone gasket that is easy to clean and is replace. The hinges are inside the sealing zone to create an exceptionally easy-to-clean design on the outside and eliminate any external cavity between the enclosure and its door.

    The HDW range is especially suitable for applications in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries where the enclosures are cleaned at high temperatures with chemical agents. A range of dedicated hygienic design accessories is also available, enabling customers to tailor the enclosure to their specific needs. The enclosure design follows the principles stated in EC Directive 2006/42/EC, EN 1672-2, EN ISO 14159 and is also EHEDG certified according to the Hygienic Design guidelines 8 and 13.
