The Allen-Bradley 440T Access/Chains Trapped Key Interlock Switches allow access to hazardous areas when the appropriate key is inserted. Providing a rugged industrial grade method of preventing access through gates, they are actuated by either a lever or a rod that is connected to chain and available with a wide variety of key configurations.

The Allen-Bradley 440T Rotary Trapped Key Interlock Switches are designed for electrical isolation of machinery, improving safe access and also as teach boxes in robot cells. After disconnection of power, the key can be withdrawn and used in the next operational sequence, such as unlocking an access hatch or operation of valves. Available as either panel mounted or purchased in an enclosure.

The Allen-Bradley 440T Slamlock™ Trapped Key Interlock Switches feature trapped keys with tongue actuated interlocks. When the actuator is inserted the trapped key can be rotated and removed, locking the guard door. In order to safely unlock the guard door, the trapped key must be re-inserted and rotated 90°. Available in mechanical, electrical, and solenoid versions.
