National Head Office

The NHP Group national head office, in the Melbourne city district of Richmond, has been home to the company for almost 40 years. It is the central site for the company’s:

National Distribution and Manufacturing Centre

NHP’s Distribution and Manufacturing Centre is located in Melbourne’s industrial precinct of Laverton, close to the city’s main airport and sea freight terminals, ensuring speedy deliveries and dispatch.

The 12,000m² facility is supported by impressive inventory management technologies and state-of-the-art warehousing, dispatching hundreds of units each day for delivery throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The facilities include:

- Extensive warehousing
- Product specific assembly lines
- Technical workshops
- Product evaluation and testing facilities
- Engineering and estimating department
- Engineering design and development

Warehouse size

- 7,000m² (manufacturing 5,000 m²)

Stockholding

- approximately $32 M ($47 M throughout Australasia)

Item throughput

- approximately 3,000 per day (4,500 lines throughout Australasia)

Orders released for picking before 3.00 pm are dispatched the same day where possible, next day delivery anywhere in Australia if required.

The Supply Chain team strives to achieve greater than 98 % customer service based on ‘in full, on time, first time’ measurement.

Branch Office Network

Our 18 branch offices are distributed across all states and territories across Australia and New Zealand. Each branch office provides a ‘mini-HQ’ in profile, with extensive local stock warehousing, a technical support team, in-house training facilities and personnel, a fully equipped workshop for product development and customisation – everything that is required to support customers’ local and immediate requirements.

Regional Representative Network

Complementing our branch offices, NHP’s 29 regional representatives extend our knowledge and customer support to areas beyond the reach of our branch offices. Our fully trained and experienced regional technical staff carry stock of most of NHP’s leading brands, as well as providing vital customer support in the most remote locations.
