
 
Higher kA Ratings in Smaller Frame Sizes
125 A Frame models now feature versions to 65 kA, while 250 A Frame models
go to 200 kA.

All current ratings up to 630 A
can be supplied in 2 sizes: the
250 A and 630 A sizes
400 A and 630 A MCCB are
now a common size. (400 AF)
The compact 125 A size offers
the same features and
performance but with reduced
dimensions and cost.

Field Installable Accessories
   
• Accessories can be fitted by the
switchboard builder or added by the
end-user. All internal accessories are
common for TemBreak 2 MCCBs.
• Handles and motor operators can be
rapidly fitted using the locking pegs.
It takes less than 10 seconds to
secure a handle or motor to the
MCCB – a great time saving
compared to alternative products.
• All accessories are endurance tested
to the same level as the host MCCB.

 
IP 54 or IP 65 Variable Depth Handles
Superior all new handles now available up to
IP 54 or IP 65 on all TemBreak 2 MCCB’s up to
630 A, and TemBreak 1 630 A to 1600 A.

  
Symmetrical Door Cut-out Patterns
Door cut-out patterns for handles are symmetrical,
even when breakers are mounted in opposite directions.

Increased thermal magnetic MCCB flexibility
 
Overload protection is adjustable between
63% and 100% of the rating.
Short-circuit protection is adjustable on all
thermal magnetic models.
Short-circuit protection settings are suitable
for motor starting on all models, including the
compact 125 A and 250 A frames.


Electronic Protection in a 250 A Frame
The adjustability of an electronic MCCB is
now available in a 250 A Frame MCCB.
Ratings up to 125 kA.


250 A Frame MCCB's: 12 A - 250 A on a Common Chassis
250 AF MCCB’s are now available ranging
from:
- 12 A – 250 A @ 25, 30 kA
- 32 A – 250 A @ 36, 65 kA

Compact Transfer Switches
    
Mechanical interlocks are
installed on the front of the
MCCB, and is compatible
with motor operators and
handles. An automatic changeover system can be
assembled in a few minutes
by a switchboard builder or
end-user, from components.
Alternatively, complete
made up transfer switches
will be available.
3 types of interlock systems are available: Link interlocks, cable interlocks and manual slide interlocks.

Increased Transfer Switch Controller Options
 
- Timer / Relay controller TLP2 – offers a
simple system of logic control from easy to
obtain NHP components
- PLC / Relay controller – offers the functions of
a PLC along with load shedding, and building
management system communication options.
- TemLogic 2 electronic transfer switch controller type TL101. Offers circuit condition monitoring and allow for automatic or manual control of the transfer switch. Setup of the Temlogic 2 controller is via pushbutton on the facia of the controller.

Visual Safety
 
Coloured indicators display the ON or OFF status. The indicators are fully covered if
the breaker trips, so that black is the only visible colour.

Direct Opening

The yellow and red safety symbol on the front of TemBreak 2 MCCBs indicates that the toggle of the MCCB is directly driven by the main contacts of the MCCB. This means that the toggle always indicates actual main contact status.
