Galaxy
The electronic auxiliary tool Cubic Galaxy is for everybody who will work with the Cubic System. It is a software program which has several platforms which work independently as well as blending information together to supply different pieces of information.
There are four main programs which are taught in the training program and a brief outline is given below.
SPICA Program
The SPICA program is used to design the switchboard in ACAD format. As different items are placed in the drawing, this leads to producing the calculation for the parts and producing a parts list. The program is easy to drive once taught and requires an ACAD program to operate. The designer will appreciate the ease of operation in designing switchboards as all of the blocks are already in a library.
ALCOR Program
The ALCOR program sits behind the SPICA program and when called up produces a calculation of the cost of the parts as well as a packing list. The list that is produced is an extremely valuable tool, because as the operator becomes more proficient with its use they will produce different lists for different sections of the board. Once in the production stage the constructor of the board knows exactly what parts go in what section.
PROXIMA
With PROXIMA it is possible to calculate and document power loss and temperatures in a panel or panel section.
REGULUS
REGULUS provides the user with a database to use for future designs. As most designers are always cut and pasting previous designs this tool will be very well accepted. Instead of relying on memory for the cut and paste, the user calls up his new design and REGULUS will provide the closest previous design to them. Too easy.
