Two thermostats in one casing:

  • Thermostat (Red dial) contact breaker, normally closed, for regulating heaters.
  • Thermostat (Blue dial) contact maker, normally open for regulating filter fans and heat exchangers or switching signal devices when temperature limit has been exceeded.

Heaters and cooling equipment can be switched independently from each other with a temperature offset as opposed to the usual changeover contacts.

  • NO and NC in one casing
  • Separate adjustable temperatures
  • High switching capacity
  • Terminals easily accessible
  • Clip fixing 35 mm DIN

When you have selected the correct heating and cooling products for your enclosure the appropriate temperature and humidity controls are recommended.

KTO, KTS, FZK and ZR thermostats are recommended for use with all heating and ventilation products to maintain your desired temperature inside your enclosure. Thermostats will also extend the life span of ventilation products and reduce the need to clean/change filters.

MFR Hygrostats are designed to control enclosure heaters so that the dew point is raised when a critical relative humidity of 65% is exceeded. In this way condensation and corrosion is effectively prevented.

These products provide an effective and efficient control for our heating and cooling products by maintaining the desired temperature and to guarantee the climatic conditions needed for trouble-free operation of electronic and electrical components.

Stego thermostats and hygrostats are also a great way to monitor your enclosures if over temperature alarms are required to notify you of faults.

Hi Sabrina,You bring up a good point. It sounds like you use your irtcelec heater sparingly to heat a defined space. I would agree this is a good use for an irtcelec heater. Unlike you, many people turn on irtcelec heaters and leave them on for hours, using them as a significant heat source. It is important to remember the average cost per residential kilowatt-hour in the U.S. is 11.7 cents (U.S. Energy Information Administration, November 2010). In Fairbanks, one kilowatt-hour costs 17.3 cents. Electricity is much more expensive here making the use of irtcelec heaters not such a good deal. Thanks for posting. Your feedback is appreciated.VN:F [1.9.14_1148]please wait...VN:F [1.9.14_1148](from 0 votes)
