Stego enclosure heaters are the answer for protecting valuable equipment from condensation damage. Outdoor equipment is particularly at risk since condensation occurs with the shift between day and night temperatures. Seasonal climatic changes or sudden temperature drops during summer thunderstorms can also produce significant condensation damage.

Even indoor systems are put at risk by the formation of condensation through temperature variations also, for example, when equipment is turned off for the night.

PTC Convection Heaters are ideal for use in tall narrow enclosures; these heaters function best when mounted near the bottom of the enclosures, in conjunction with a thermostat mounted in the upper section of the enclosure to maintain the desired temperature. The convection heating capabilities are available from 10 W to 150 W.

The heaters are used in enclosures where condensation is to be prevented or the temperature may not fall below a minimum value. In this way corrosion is avoided and an even temperature is ensured.
